The cheekiest attempted overtakes?

Alonso passes Massa in the China pit lane
Fernando Alonso passes his teammate in the pit entrance at the Chinese Grand Prix pushing Felipe Massa onto the grass.

Vettel crashes out of the Turkish race, and into Webber
Sebastian Vettel attempted to overtake teammate Mark Webber and span him off into one of Turkey's acres of run-off area, ended his own afternoon, and opened the door for Lewis Hamilton to claim his first win of the season.

Schumacher squeezes Barrichello into the wall
The seven-time world champion closed the gap on his former teammate, who was already committed to the attempt, and then squeezed him along the pitwall. Had anyone been coming out of the pits as the pair passed, it would have been carnage.

Anne Hathaway bares it all for Love And Other Drugs

Anne Hathaway has quite a few sex scenes with her co-actor Jake Gyllenhaal in her latest movie Love and Other Drugs. But as if those scenes were not enough to show skin, Anne went a step further and got naked before the crew of the film for no reason. It was just a case of misunderstanding, as Anne explained during the New York City premiere of the film.

Actress Anne Hathaway had to remove her trench coat and be nude underneath that. She went ahead and did it only to realize that they were not shooting but just rehearsing. So she bared it all without a reason. But a professional that she is, she claims that she just went ahead and did her job.

Although Anne did not look uncomfortable or uneasy during the nude shot, she has said that there were butterflies inside her stomach. However, Anne dismissed it as an internal problem and did not let that get in the way of her work. Jake, her co-star has even complimented Anne for her 'rhythm' in the sex scenes. Both Jake and Anne should have felt comfortable in the lovemaking scenes, as they had also slept together in the film Brokeback Mountain.

Jake has said that the fact that they had done sex scenes for Brokeback Mountain took care of any nervousness that they might have felt shooting for this film. Jake, in the movie Love and Other Drugs, plays the role of a pharmaceutical sales person called Jamie Randall, who hooks up and sleeps with Maggie, played by Anne, as he sells her a sex enhancement product for men.

Formula One teams wrapped up their first run on Pirelli tires

Pirelli is all set to replace Bridgestone as Formula1’s sole tyre supplier from 2011. The teams wrapped up their first run on Pirelli tires Saturday, with seven-time champion Michael Schumacher among drivers who were impressed by the new wheels.

Schumacher, who posted a seventh-fastest lap, said the tires were consistent as the two-day testing session involving all 12 teams wrapped.

Schumacher's 2011 title hopes hinge on Mercedes being able to adapt to the Italian brand, which returns to F1 for this first time since 1991. Schumacher's return was marked by a car that had problems on Bridgestones, who are quitting the sport after having been a supplier since 2001.

Sebastian Vettel said the tires "were already better than expected" after testing at the Yas Marina circuit, where the 23-year-old Red Bull driver won the F1 drivers' title Sunday.

Fernando Alonso ran 105 laps for the quickest time of the session ahead of Vettel, who edged the Ferrari driver for the championship at the final race. Alonso's time was 1 minute, 40.529 seconds — nearly three-tenths faster than Vettel.

The double world champion said he doesn't expect the switch from Bridgestone to Pirelli to be a "traumatic one."

Pirelli will hold a private test in Bahrain from Dec. 12-16 but the next scheduled tests involving all teams don't begin again until February.

My Appetite For Destruction

My Appetite for Destruction: Sex, and Drugs, and Guns n' Roses by Steven Adler with Lawrence J Spagnola (Harper Collins), R200

STEVEN Adler was Guns n' Roses' first drummer, kicked out of the band due to his excessive drug use. Ironically, he was on detox medication when he was asked to leave (during the recording of the first Use Your Illusion album), while most of the rest of the band were indulging in hard drugs. Calling himself the "undisputed all-time booze-chugging, pill-popping, drug-shooting, Katrina-calibre f***up," Adler chronicles his long fall from grace in graphic detail. Though the book will make you want to cringe at times with its puerile too-much-information boasting about sexual conquests, it's hard not to sympathise with Adler, who for over 20 years was literally sucked into a hole of addiction he couldn't get out of. Although, you may find yourself wanting to slap him at times ...

Along the way he suffered two strokes, numerous overdoses and many run-ins with the law. And who helped him get over his addiction? None other than Slash, his former bandmate, along with various long-suffering family members. This book not only acts as a warning to anyone dabbling with hard drugs but gives an insight into the explosive dynamics of one of the most popular bands of the 80s and early 90s. What a pity Axl Rose messed it all up and alienated all the original members. If you're a Guns n' Roses fan, or like a good rock wreck saga, then this trash fest is for you. If you're (foolishly) expecting Pulitzer Prize-winning words of wisdom, run for the hills.

Adler was featured in "Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House", an eight-episode, one hour series that premiered in January 2009 on VH1.

O'Brien Tops Rivals In Late-Night Return

About 4.2 million people tuned in to watch Conan O'Brien's return to late-night television Monday, making it the most-watched late-night talk show Monday, according to Nielsen Co. data provided by several TV networks.

NBC's "The Tonight Show" -- the gig Conan left when that network wanted to move him to just after midnight to make room for a new Jay Leno late-night show -- snagged an average of 3.5 million viewers Monday night, while David Letterman's CBS late night show clocked 3.4 million. Over at Comedy Central, Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show" averaged 1.3 million people and "The Colbert Report" about 1 million.

TBS noted nearly 2.5 million of Conan's first-night crowd fell into the 18-to-34-year-old age bracket. This is important because 18-34 year olds are, to Madison Avenue advertising execs, what buxom brunette hookers are to Charlie Sheen -- and TBS is an ad-supported basic cable network.

With all the hoopla there's been about Conan leaving NBC, being canonized by his fans, going on tour, being hired at TBS, etc., he's sure to get a lot of samplingh is first week on TBS. The real test will be how his show is doing in the ratings a few months from now.

Scarlett Johansson to play alien sexual predator

Scarlett Johansson's alien seductress will use her 'voracious sexuality' to harvest human body parts in the Scottish Highlands, say Under the Skin producers.

To some, Scarlett Johansson is the dream woman. Now the actor is to star as a pin-up extraterrestrial who roams the Scottish Highlands in search of male hitchhikers whose body parts she can harvest, in a sci-fi film directed by Jonathan Glazer.

Under the Skin will be produced by FilmNation, who today issued a statement explaining that Johansson will play "an alien on Earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey - her voracious sexuality."

In a statement, FilmNation's CEO Glen Basner, said: "We're so very excited to be working on this arrestingly original movie. How could we pass up the chance to work with a visionary director like Jonathan, especially when combined with the intriguing notion of Scarlett Johansson as a ruthless alien seductress?"

Conan adjusting to cable-sized portions

As their new 11 p.m. TBS talk show gets ready to roll Monday, Conan O'Brien and his staff have started to learn how the other half lives. After 17 years at NBC, they're adjusting to cable-sized portions.

"We have a lower budget for the show," Jeffrey Ross, executive producer of "Conan," said in an interview. "So unfortunately we couldn't bring everybody with us" from "The Tonight Show," where O'Brien was unceremoniously dumped and Jay Leno reinstalled as host earlier this year.

And then there's that 250-seat studio on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, "The studio is a little bit smaller than what we had" at "Tonight's" studio in nearby Universal City, Ross said.

Yet O'Brien's switch from legacy broadcaster to basic-cable outpost represents a hugely symbolic moment in the evolution of late-night TV, as the audience tilts away from aging franchises such as "Tonight" to younger competitors.

In October, for the first time ever, Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" became the No. 1 late-night program among adults ages 18 to 49, beating "Tonight" and CBS' "Late Show With David Letterman," according to the Nielsen Co.

Leno and Letterman are now battling for supremacy of a diminished and notably grayer audience. The median age of the Letterman viewer is 56; for Leno, it's 55. Meanwhile, Stewart generates just as much news and water-cooler chatter as do the traditional hosts. And the field includes a growing roster of other personalities with their own followings, such as Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert and Chelsea Handler.
