According to Internet rumours and several newspapers, elusive rockers Guns N' Roses and concert promoters are expected to make a tour announcement on Monday (Oct. 19) involving the long awaited Chinese Democracy tour. All rumours are pointing to a Canadian tour.
Asian concert promoters have already confirmed that Guns N' Roses will perform a mini-tour of Asia later this year. The gigs will be their first shows in support of last year's Chinese Democracy. Universal Music Japan confirmed two of the dates, while advertisements for two additional stops have reportedly appeared in the confirmed cities.
The tour begins in Taiwan on Dec. 11 with stops in South Korea and Japan. The four-date trek will conclude with two stadium dates in Japan, including a Dec. 19 date at the Tokyo Dome. The Japanese shows go on sale Oct. 3. The shows will be the band's first gigs since they last performed in Osaka, Japan in 2007.
